Each year Downtown New Jersey recognizes New Jersey’s best downtown projects, programs, and leaders. Winning submissions are considered models worthy of emulation, and are promoted on Downtown New Jersey’s website and are recognized at an awards ceremony.

This year, Downtown New Jersey will celebrate the state’s best and brightest downtown projects at a standalone Downtown Excellence Awards event in December. By separating the awards from the annual conference, we will shine an even brighter spotlight on the innovative initiatives and outstanding achievements that are transforming our downtowns.
To give more communities the opportunity to be recognized, the nomination deadline has been extended through October 31, 2025. Don’t miss your chance to showcase the impact and creativity happening in your downtown.
