  Jersey Planning Conference is the largest land use conference in the regi
 on.\n\nCo-hosted by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Associ
 ation and the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy\, the confere
 nce educates and empower planners and other land use professionals\, elect
 ed and appointed officials\, and citizen activists on ways to advance the 
 art and science of good planning — physical\, economic and social — to
  create communities that offer better and more equitable choices for how p
 eople live\, work and play.\n\nThis year\, DNJ President\, Bob Zuckerman\,
  will be featured in a Friday morning panel.\n\nGlass Half Full: Reforming
  New Jersey’s Antiquated Liquor Laws\nNew Jersey is home to some of the 
 most archaic and out-of-date liquor laws in the country. Yet\, despite som
 e recent progress\, reform measures continue to languish in the state legi
 slature. As a result\, licenses are still very restrictive and expensive\,
  impacting the economic development of many of the state's downtown distri
