About New Brunswick Ciclovia:
New Brunswick Ciclovia is a free, citywide initiative that closes the streets to cars and opens them to people, promoting healthy active living through experiencing New Brunswick’s vitality, livability, and diversity in a safe place for people to exercise and play. Ciclovia was created under a collective impact model. It represents the efforts of a diverse partnership of committed leaders from across public and private sectors; representing, corporate and local businesses, community health and obesity prevention advocates, arts and culture groups, faith and school-based communities, law enforcement, bike and walk activists, and city residents. The New Brunswick Ciclovia is known as a model open streets program in New Jersey that contributes to the global open streets movement.

The New Brunswick Ciclovia Study Tour- is a 2-day event that will provide in-depth presentations including information, technical assistance and hands-on experiences for developing an Open Streets initiative within a community. Day 1 will feature workshops and overview for developing an open streets initiative in your community. Day 2 will tour New Brunswick Ciclovia to provide hands on experience.

Take a look at our agenda on the official New Brunswick Ciclovia website.
