October 19, 2023 – We gathered in Red Bank for the 2023 NJ Downtown Conference & Excellence Awards where industry experts provided insights about downtown management best practices.
September 28, 2023 – DNJ, NJTOD.org, & NJ TRANSIT Transit Friendly Planning hosted a discussion about the intricacies of parking in commercial districts and new residential projects, and the effects of the antiquated parking standards.
June 23, 2023 – We hosted a session at the NJ Planning and Redevelopment Conference talking about liquor license reform.
June 1, 2023 – We kicked off the summer with an informal happy hour in Asbury Park.
May 18, 2023 – DNJ, NJTOD.org, & NJ TRANSIT Transit Friendly Planning hosted a discussion about attracting and retaining local businesses in NJ’s downtowns.
May 9, 2023 – The NJ Liquor License Reform Alliance held a discussion about needed reform to support our small businesses and downtowns. Afterwards, we enjoyed happy hour networking.
April 28, 2023 – We were joined be on-the-ground experts for a discussion about parklet best practices.
March 10, 2023 – We brought together a panel of experts from federal, state, and non-profit entities to discuss available funding and incentive programs and how they can be used in downtowns to support small businesses, redevelopment, planning, and infrastructure projects.
November 15, 2022 – We convened at the NJ League of Municipalities Conference for a discussion about re-envisioning the public Right-of-Way to activate and revitalize your downtown.
